Privacy

What this site collects, and what it does not.

Remote Doctor is a static information website. It has no accounts, no sign-up or contact forms, no comments, and no advertising. We never ask for your health information, and you should not send it to us.

Google Analytics

The site uses Google Analytics 4 (a service of Google LLC) to understand how many people visit and which pages they read. When a page loads, a Google script sets first-party cookies (such as _ga) and sends Google technical information: the page address, the referring page, approximate location derived from your IP address, device and browser type, and on-page events such as scrolling. We use this only in aggregate to decide which pages to improve. We do not combine it with any other data, and the site does not use Google Analytics advertising features.

Google processes this data under its own terms and privacy policy (policies.google.com/privacy). You can prevent collection by blocking cookies or scripts from googletagmanager.com and google-analytics.com, using a content blocker, or installing Google's opt-out browser add-on (tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout).

Hosting logs

Like any website, the hosting and content-delivery provider processes IP addresses and request details to serve pages and protect against abuse. These logs are handled by the provider and are not used by us to identify visitors.

Health information

Because the site has no forms and offers no consultations, it does not collect protected health information and is not a HIPAA covered entity. Reading a page about a condition does not tell us anything about you beyond the aggregate page-view statistics described above.

Links to other sites

Pages refer to government agencies and other outside sites. Their privacy practices are their own.

Changes

If what the site collects changes, this page will be updated and the date above revised.
